On the morning of August 12, 2026, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mang Yang No. 2 Industrial Cluster in Hra Commune, Gia Lai Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dang Vinh Son – Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Internal Affairs Commission of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Que – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; alongside representatives from various provincial departments, local agencies, and a large number of residents from Nhon Tan Village, Hra Commune.

The project has a total investment of VND 400 billion with a total planned area of 74.5 ha, comprising:
- • 46.68 ha (62.66%) for factory, industrial plant, and warehouse construction, partitioned into 32 production lots. Priority is given to deep processing plants for agricultural and forestry products, export packaging supporting industries, organic and microbiological fertilizer manufacturing from agricultural waste, as well as high-tech private sector projects.
- • 16.55 ha (22.22%) for centralized green spaces and buffer zones, featuring an environmental protection belt at least 10 meters wide along the project boundary, reinforcing an eco-friendly development strategy in harmony with the surrounding environment.
- •9.16 ha (12.3%) for internal traffic infrastructure, featuring a main road with a 30-meter right-of-way, facilitating convenient travel and the transportation of raw materials and products.
- •Over 1.17 ha designated for the administration building and over 0.93 ha for technical infrastructure, including a centralized wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 1,316 m³/day, fully compliant with National Technical Regulation QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT.
Strategically located along National Highway 19 with direct connections to the Quy Nhon – Pleiku Expressway and major seaports in Quy Nhon, the project is set to become a vital link connecting agricultural products from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to international markets. Once operational, the industrial cluster is expected to create stable employment for over 4,500 workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang – General Director of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company – expressed pride and a sense of responsibility as a major enterprise deeply rooted in Gia Lai’s land and people. Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company commits to mobilizing maximum resources and working with reputable consulting partners and contractors to implement the project in accordance with the approved plan and schedule, ensuring construction quality, occupational safety, and environmental protection. In addition, HAGL will work closely with secondary investors, providing maximum legal support to give them confidence in their long-term commitment to the industrial cluster. The Group will make every effort to fulfill the specific investment and project development targets registered with the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, highlighted the importance of the project to local industrial development and requested Hra Commune, along with relevant departments and agencies, to coordinate closely and provide all necessary support to keep the project on schedule and bring it into operation as soon as possible. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his expectation that, with HAGL's capacity and sense of responsibility, together with the support and cooperation of the Party Committee, local authorities, and people of Hra Commune, the project will operate effectively and contribute to promoting socio-economic development in Hra Commune in particular and Gia Lai Province in general.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the investor to fully fulfill its commitments, focus on the construction and completion of the industrial cluster, and ensure that its management and operations comply with ESG standards for sustainable development. He also called for proactive efforts to attract secondary investors and develop a production ecosystem to bring the industrial cluster into operation as soon as possible.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Hoang Anh Gia Lai signed a Memorandum of Understanding with several secondary investors. The projects include a silk reeling mill, which is expected to receive an investment of VND 80 billion, with an annual capacity of 550 tons of silk and create jobs for approximately 550-600 workers. The packaging and carton paper manufacturing factory project is expected to receive an investment of VND 140 billion, with an annual capacity of 15-20 million products and provide stable employment for 100-150 local workers.
